Greetings! I seem to have an obsession. Everyday I have a brush, pencil, pen, and/or camera in my hands. As a decorative painter by day, you would think using painting as a reward would be quite monotonous- but not for me. With such an addiction, it's safe to say I produce quite a bit of artwork. So...I decided to post some work from time to time. Hope there is something that catches your eye. Enjoy!!!

Finished project for Father's Day:
I recently showed a client a fold out book I've been working on and it spurred a great idea for her husband's Father's Day present. Since the book is one of "photo extensions", where photos I have shot are applied to a surface then continued past the photo's edges until you can not see the original image instantly, she sent me images of her little boy for her own custom book. There was one for every month of his first year, with 4 for the 12th month. So 15 images. This was a great project because she wanted me to be free with my "extension" ideas. Of course, I had to follow what was in the original photo, and usually I am able to pick a photo out of many (I see which photo has the best color or something in it to "extend"), so the pictures were a bit dark but I'm happy with the end product. My fantastic client was very happy too.

I am so proud of you and what you do---you will get through this hellbent period. I remember that when things were tough for me and I had absolutely no positives to extract, there you were, dishing them out and reminding me that things, inevitably, always do get better. That was in Harlem and when I mud masked. I was angry at your hopefulness.
Here I am telling you the same thing: the ruffles will smooth themselves out. Art is never an easy grind and those committed to their talents survive the bumps and knocks with more to tell then the rest.
I am proud of you. Inspired by you. Thrilled to be in your loop. Motivated by you.
