The artist reception at the Blackwater Cafe was a blast. So many people showed up...was even hard to get around to everyone and have a chat. Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun and all the well wishes for my birthday! I have the best friends, family, supporters! Also, a special thank you to Rachel, Wes, Carrie, Jan, and Drew for organizing the show and the party that ensued and to Check Please for the tunes.

New show at Blackwater Cafe!

Come and see. The opening will be Saturday, January 26th, 6-9pm. Should be a great time. "Check Please" will be providing a little melody...their first time in Tacoma. The lineup includes Jesse Quitslund and Drew Schot. Can't wait and hear!

Here's another "ReMix" to view. This one was sold at the Embellish opening. That was a great event...thanks to everyone that came. The Painkillers put on a fantastic show...love that "Gallaxy 500" tune.

Tomorrow night my opening at Embellish Salon & Gallery will be between 6-8pm. That leaves enough time to catch the new show at the Helm (they go until 10pm)...sounds like a good one. Especially looking forward to seeing what Trevor Dickson is up to. All goodness I bet.

Sonics!!!

Am so excited for the Sonics... they are playing tonight and Sunday night in Brooklyn. It's sure to be a great show. After 35 yrs! Drew, my mom Jan(an old...and I don't mean oolldd, geesh... buddy of Larry Parypa- yah Larry!), and I were heading to the show this evening but had to change plans. So now we will cheer them on from afar...from Tacoma! Scream and howl boys!!!!

Thanks to all who showed up at the "Waterline" opening at the Crossing Tracks Gallery in San Diego. Loved meeting so many interesting and helpful people. Had a fantastic time "visiting" with artist and friend Kirsten Carlson since we both showed up from little Gig Harbor, WA. Thanks Kirsten! The varied artwork was from as far away as Alaska and as close as San Diego (well... and of course Washington). Thanks so much to Roberto Salas for the invitation into the show (owner and artist).

My next opening will be November 15th at Embellish Salon & Gallery Du Jour in Tacoma, WA. The Painkillers will be the featured music. The lineup includes James Hilborne, Billy Stambaugh, Rick King, and Drew Schot. You'll have to come and see them!
